A: Several factors, like the equipment power requirements, inverter load capacity and inverter battery power determine the number of appliances you can run on a home inverter. To check exact inverter load and battery capacity requirements, you can use the Livguard Load Calculator here.
A: Yes, you can run a computer or laptop on inverter power. Modern home inverters supply uninterrupted power in case of blackouts, allowing you to complete critical tasks and save your work.
A: This depends upon your power requirement at home. Livguard inverters are designed to suit the needs of all your appliances. To check exact inverter load and battery capacity requirements, you can use the Livguard’s load calculator here.
A: Depending upon the equipment power requirement, inverter load capacity and inverter battery power, it can be determined if a heavy appliance can be run on a home inverter. To check exact inverter load and battery capacity requirements, you can use the Livguard’s load calculator here.
A: Considering the back-up requirement and load management, both the spaces require different inverters. Few of the factors to consider while choosing both the inverters should be:
1)The office needs an immediate switch over time
2)The office requires inverters over 2 kVA while home require inverters upto 5 kVA depending on need or usage
Livguard offers a wide range of home and office inverters, depending upon the power requirement. To check exact inverter load and battery capacity requirements, you can use the Livguard’s load calculator here.

"A power inverter or inverter is an electronic device that changes direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC). During Mains present it by passes the AC Mains, simultaneously it also charges the battery i.e. convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). "
Inverter can be classified based on two types
A.Based on Input DC power source: 12V/24V/48V
B.Based on Output wave form: Sinewave/Squarewave
Inverters are rated in VA and Volt . The capacity of an inverter is measured in VA and volt rating determines the number of batteries required to connect with the Inverter. The battery which is used in inverter application is of 12 Volt.Hence, a 12 Volt UPS would require 1 battery and 48 Volt UPS would require 4 (12*4) batteries.
1. 12 V DC: For smaller consumer and Home energy inverters e.g: LG700E, LG900, LG1100, LGS900, LGS1100 & LGS1600
2. 24, 36 and 48V DC: For home and commercial purpose. e.g: LGS1700, LG2300, LGS2500, LGS3000, LGS4000, LG3500 & LG5000
Pure Sine wave : Pure sine wave inverters provides clean power supply like grid power which ensures the safety of appliances and also reduces the noise level from appliances like fan, light and television etc. Livguard sine wave inverters also support sensitive appliances like computors and laptops.
Square wave: Square wave inverters are basic inverters. In the absence of mains, they provides power.
VA : Volt Ampere is the full form of VA. "V" is the voltage and "A" is the current that transferred by the inverters to the appliances.
In regulated (UPS) Mode, Switch should be kept in this mode when computer is to run as this will ensure regulated voltage input of 180V to 260V which is suitable for sensitive appliances like computers and Unregulated (ECO) Mode allowed the flexibility to charge the UPS in low voltage.
It is used for protecting inverters in case of very high load connected in mains mode.
